Its exactly that reasoning why I picked him. Look at what Dallas Clark does for Indy.... Lots of weapons that give the TE space. Its most likely going to be Sanchez, or whoever becomes his go to guy.
How can Braylon be the man if Sanchez has a "mediocre year" ??? Superbowl talk is only possible if Sanchez steps it up! What are the chances making the playoff like we did last year? Dont get me wrong I see us making the playoffs but were going to have to do better than 9-7 with 2 lay downs at the end of the season!
I think the ball is going to be spread out between the WR's and TE's so I do not think any of them will have enough of an overall team impact to be MVP. I also think Greene and LT will split carries (60/40 or so, LT on the goal line) which will bring down their MVP Status. This leaves Sanchez, the guy with the ball in his hands every play as the my choice, he should be the team MVP, if not, god help us all!
I picked Sanchez, I was impressed by his work ethic following his surgery and I really think the experience he gained in the postseason is gonna help him turn the corner big time this year.
I went with Mangold. It's not always about the stats that you can see that make an offensive MVP. There's a reason why Mangold is a captain and leader of this team and it's because he has all the tools and intelligence needed to make this offense run as smoothly as possible and make the transition/growth/maturation for Sanchez as easy as possible. With Mangold on our Oline and DBrick covering the left side we almost guarantee ourselves a top 5 line year after year. That's why Mangold is my MVP.
