    no, it wont unless you consider destroying a kids confidence Hurting him.

    Picture this a 21 year old kid making his first major league start and getting BOMBED. gives up 4 runs in 1/3 of an inning. Now for a guy that has had expierence it wont be that big of a deal, but for a guy that spent almost no time in the minors it scars him forever.
