Dammit. I don't normally vote in these things, but I opened this just now and looked at the poll first and saw CJ with three votes. I'm like, This is absurd. He is ABSOLUTELY going to get voted MVP by his teammates, and it won't be close.

So yeah, I'm the dipshit who voted for CJ after he won.

This is a team without a lot of consistencies, but to me, the most consistently good player has been Michael Carter, when he's healthy. My number 2 choice would be CJ Moseley, unfortunately he's been undone by the terrible play of his D teammates. I love Braxton Berrios, but the Jets in their typically "superb" ability to evaluate talent, didn't discover him until recently, therefore he hasn't been able to demonstrate his abilities for most of the season.

I voted Fant in the poll, but honestly, CJ was the first player that came to mind and who I expected to win the actual team vote. I just thought Fant greatly exceeded expectations when he stepped in at LT and helped stabilize the line. He was essentially an afterthought for much of the year, which is always a good thing for o-linemen.

Why criticize the eagles when you could have used gholsten as your example of a combine superstar. Otherwise....good post !!!!

I think CJ and Berrios are all deserving. My fav player Carter had a solid season but was injured too much to get the nod imo. I went with Fant because he was consistent and far more adequate than Becton. And also when he lost RT to Moses he didn’t grip or quit and became a stud in left side. He allowed only 1 sack, tied for the best.

Berrios jump started the ST in the last 3-4 weeks. He is a solid WR and info is the most IMPROVED player.

Thx, Jeff. The only reason I cited Mamula over Gholston is because the Eagles gave Mamula a second contract, despite not showing much under his first one. At least the jets did not give Gholston another contract.

Crucial offseason for Douglas. If he drafts like 2020, we are screwed. If he drafts like 2021, we have a chance. Plus he HAS to get some decent free agents, especially some veterans in the back seven who can TACKLE! I don't think Ashton Davis could tackle my 88 year old mother-in-law.
