overall i agree with your point. sanchez was great in the clutch. (overall for the game i thought he was just decent -- too many mistakes and points left on the field) but we were down 10 and he drove us 92 yards. but you really cant ignore all the other stuff
I am not a Sanchez fan per say, but this sucks for him. Pro Football Focus @PFF For Week 7 Mark Sanchez had an adjusted completion % of 80%. Damn those drops.
It was a team loss. We outplayed the pats. Play calling wasn't bad. Should have used Tebow more near the goal line. Penalties came at the worst times. Special teams giving up the KO return for TD and huge field position swings. Kearly had a huge game but fielded two punts inside the 10 yd line, holding on a KO return was a 30+ yard swing, defense played solid, didn't like the soft prevent giving up the game tieing FG, Sanchez played as good as he has all year, seemed to see the field much better in finding underneath rec when down field wasn't open, but still had turnovers and missed seeing a wide open TE late in the game and over threw Keller on what could have been a larger gain. Hill dropped a big first down pass late in game. It was a team loss, but I think our team got better this week. If we can stay at .500 or maybe a little better going into the last 5 weeks of the season, we will be in the playoffs and possibly win the division. Need to take care of business with div opponents like the fish this weekend.
