You show inconsistency like that I want you no where near my team.

We may see him in the 2nd round.

Did anyone see the tape of his workout on NFL Network? I did...and it was nothing short of AWFUL. He was slipping all over the place coming out of his cuts...he QUIT on two seperate cone drills...he worked out shirtless, and fell after dropping a ball. The look on his face, you would have thought he got shot by a sniper in the stands. His attitude looked awful, according to Mayock he was out of shape (I'll believe him), and he wasn't crisp. Other than the Raiders, I don't know who would go after a guy like this? They compared him to Dwayne Bowe, with an attitude, and some possible off-field baggage. I could easily see him as a 2nd rounder.

I still think some team will take a shot at him due to his talent, but this guy had issues that got him suspended and needed a big pro day to show he is mature enough to still work hard with a big contract. He failed in that respect greatly.

Dwayne Bowe with an attitude? Bowe is a douche bag.

Apparently, he wasn't wearing cleats, because he forgot them. How in the hell did he forget his cleats on the most important day of his life?

Rotoworld just confirmed that Ditz Bryant skipped many, many college-level English classes.

My personal favorite is "even if I did forget my cleats, what do that have to do with me playing football?" Quite a bit, Dez; quite a bit.

I'm not doubting him. I know what he's capable of, and if he really has a big fall on draft day and ends up with a team that's on the brink of or was in the playoffs? Oh boy. That's going to be a bad man.

Imagine Houston getting him at #20? Or with Palmer and Ochocinco at 21? Goodness.

Is Dez Bryant Hurting his stock even more?

I'll readily admit that I know very little about Dez, but what I do know is that hes a good athlete with character problems.
This latest outburst, if you can call it that doesn't sit right with me.
All this after his Pro day which apparently he organized went completely pair shaped, the only thing missing was clown shoes.
If he were still there at 29 (unlikely), I really would not want this guy on the team.

Yeah thanks. But that is meant to be a debate about Dez Vs Golden...which is getting derailed.
This is solely about Dez and how NFL scouts/teams will view the way he has conducted himself over the last few days.

    Sidenote:
I'm getting a little tired of over zealous moderating. By that I mean just because a certain player is mentioned, then all threads pertaining to that player suddenly all wind up in the same melting pot.
Its the F 'n off season, there aren't that many threads, and the ones that have been amalgamated are a conglomeration of a massive carbuncle.

I hope this stuff scares enough teams away where he falls to us at pick #29. Talent wise he could definitely be the next Randy Moss. Having a young receiver like Bryant to link up with Sanchez for the next 5 years would be huge for our offense.

Sure, he seems like an immature idiot, but so are most elite receivers these days. At pick 29 I think he's worth the risk for sure.

Knowing Tanny, if he falls into the 20s he could be a Jet...

    No, he can't.

Bryant's not even close to being as fast as Randy Moss.

He's got enough talent to become an elite receiver in this league, but like I said earlier, he's stupid enough to be out of the league in a few years.

At least by comparing himself to Randy Moss, you know he has supreme self-confidence. I suppose that's why so many of the elite receivers in the league are divas/delinquents.

He was out of shape at his pro day. he packed on some muscle but he isnt in good enough football shape to keep the new 223 or 225 frame he has and keep the stamina.

i also saw him slipping in and out of his cuts, poor balance=poor training.

then again if he ran anything in the 4.45 area people wouldnt be saying shit.

the gametape says otherwise and we all know it. maybe hes best suited at his 08 weight of 212.

he has the potential to be a HUGE playmaker but yes I like the USC-Williams comparison he does seem to be that odd kind of prospect.

biggest thing to talk about he literally was quoted as saying that he doesnt like running slants.

    wow.

Problem is, as hes still young , hes still developing and will naturally gain weight. He'd better adapt his game and his mind set if hes to crack the NFL

Tate had a bad case of the dropsies at the combine during the gauntlet drill. I really don't want the Jets to take him.

yeah but once season rolls around and if hes properly running his playing weight will be around 215 if he takes care of himself.

most of these guys combine weight is BS. its them in good running shape for a 40 and position drills. then they get chiseled and rocked for weigh in.

after the pads and helmet come on and your in your regular routine of practice/training/playing alot of guys drop some more weight.

just like Brick's listed weight is a fucking joke. he was playing at about 285 his first two years. hes bulked up a lil and its helped.

I think you get my point, but yours is totally valid hes still young so naturally as he ages his weight will go up. but he is chiseled at 225 im just saying he's not in "football shape" at that weight. at least not as his pro day.

i dunno if thats just his lack of not training while he was suspended for 10 games up till now or what.

either way its not THAT big of an issue just something to disucss.
