Patriots play the same schedule, only difference though is instead of playing the Texans and Broncos. They play the Colts and Chargers. Which is a lot harder. It pays to not win the division I guess, cuz had we won the division we would be playing the Colts and Chargers next year. Maybe we have to thank the Bills for blowing that game in week 1? who woulda thought it would make a major difference for both of our futures. I can see 9 games being enough to win the division next year.
I wonder how many primetime games we get next year, I would say at least 2 with one on Mon night and one on Sun night.
very tough but when teams look at their schedule I expect them to see @ or vs Jets and think "tough game"
Honestly I don't see this as a very tough schedule. People thought this year's schedule was going to be tough and it wasn't too bad. Every single one of those games is winnable. Minnesota will NOT be as good next year. We're on the same level as Balt/Cincy/Pitt/NE. The toughest game is going to be on the road in Denver, especially if it's in the last 1/4 of the season.
Our road schedule is also VERY kind considering our opponents. We only draw Pitt and Denver as tough out of division road games. The toughest teams visit us.
I can see 2 or more considering the Jets have a budding QB and a coach that the media gets wet over. All NFL fans will come to learn to respect Rex Ryan over time because when you are this cool, its tough to hate you.
The last time the Jets went to the AFC title game the league gave them three MNF games and one SNF game the following season. I would guess the Patriots, Dolphins, Bengals, Ravens, Lions (Thanksgiving) and Vikings (especially if Favre returns) would be the most likely opponents for a national game.......
Believe it or not a source came out that the only primetime games will be monday night vs pats and thanksgiving vs detriot
