Please just start a thread with this post and sticky it. Nothing else needs to be said about the 2007-2008 New York Jets. Thank you, Kurt.

no i saw it coming. I thought we would be 6 and 10. I was way to optimistic. Mangini sucks which was a surprise. His stubborn my way attitude is just insulting us fans

The first three picks will come from the same division...

Look at the Pats they are unstoppable. They are deadly. No team can beat them even if the other teams get a 10 point advantage.

I don't think anyone thinks Thomas Jones is as good as Curtis Martin.

Well, they've progressed to the point in the schedule where they played the Dolphins, Bills, giants and Eagles right in a row. Don't be fooled by "improvement" caused by playing a bunch of weak teams.

That's the same kind of "improvement" the Jet's D had last year when they played a bunch of weak teams.

The offensive line still blows chunks, the other guys are just blowing back at them a lot of the time recently. Wait until we run into a big defense again.

Vinny was better today than Chad has been at any point this season. That's pretty sad.

Uh, those teams while bad record wise were pretty good test for the OLine. I don't see anything weak about the Giants pass rush and the Eagles D overall.

Like I said, the easy thing to fix is the Oline. Let's wait to see what we have by seasons end before declaring we need multiple 1st and 2nd round picks on the Oline.

How about just the 3rd or 4th round pick they should have spent this year instead of trading up?

The Jets 2007 draft was the worst example of a rebuilding draft that I can think of. Trade up for defensive backs and linebackers when you have obvious deficits on both lines? Madden Morons.

I know that you disapprove of the draft, to the point of wanting the slam the Oline week in and out. I personally think fretting over the Oline is fruitless, just wait and see what we have. All we may need is to sign a guard in the off-season Buddy.

Cant agree here. Pennington may be #1, but the OL is 1a. They blocked for the run better today but were awful in blitz pitckup.

  11. The blitzes were coming primarily from the far outside..which would be the responsibility of the QB to call an audible for blitz pick-up..and the TE's and RB's to pick up the actual blitzes.

You're smoking. Chad swallowed the ball atlease three times when a real QB had enough time to hit a receiver down the field. Every sack today was Chads fault.

Or to hit a hot route or find the man to man on the outside receiver or actually act like a pro football QB and not swallow the ball most of the time!!!!!!!

And his drop backs are horrible!!!!! He isn't going to get rid of the ball if it's a deep route that is open and he can't step up to throw ................plus he allows the speed rushers to take a wide angle to get him.
