Jets fans hate other teams? Lmao. Bunch of grown men playing a game. Sad to think you’d hate another team. Who cares who the “rivals” are if your team has no chance? Might be taking the game a little too seriously. It’s entertainment, nothing more.
Rooting against the Pats and after that I just wanna see some good football (or who I bet on) Would love to see Saints and Chiefs or Saints and Ravens in the SB
Next weekend I am a huge Texans and Titans fan. After that I just want to see good football. I don't care who wins in the other games.

When I say "hate" I mean in the sports sense not real life. Think Michigan-Ohio State, Yankees-Red Sox, Islanders-Rangers. As a Jets fan I will never root for the Pats, Bills, or Dolphins to do well as I hate (sports way) them.
Lived near Baltimore for a year, so I like the Ravens a bit. Lived near Boston for two years, so I hate the Patriots even more than before.
Saints/ Chiefs works for me. When I was a kid back in the 70's my younger brother and I were both stupid Jets fans (just like now) so of course we each had "playoff teams" to root for. So, I fully appreciate the concept of this topic. My brother seemed to root for the Vikings, while I leaned towards the Steelers. I think I rooted for the Steelers because they usually would be playing Miami or Oakland, two teams I had Jets influenced hatred towards. So to make a long story short, my brother was even a bigger loser than I was ; )
Been a fan since I was about 5 years old. 34 now. So, 29 years. Guess that’s not long enough to be a fan. Or maybe I just don’t take grown men playing a game quite as seriously as you.
More power to ya to each his own. That said As i grow older Ive seen the game of football have a profound impact on individuals of all demographics & backgrounds.Passion & emotion of all kinds. Its embedded into our culture & our beings;Is taking it seriously really anymore trivial than celebrating a holiday or be moved by a song? i grew up in an area w bandwagon giant fans turned Patriot fans. There was a profound & special disdain for the Jets & their fans.It took a special kind of loyalty & dedication to remain a fan.Should I feel inhumane or trivial for havin an exaggerated level of angst towards opposing Pats fans?
The fact that you let random people of another sports team affect you in any way whatsoever is kind of sad. It shouldn’t have any impact on you or your life, brother. No need to stoop to their level and spread the hate. But whatever keeps your blood flowing, I guess. And I’m not a big holiday guy myself. Couldn’t care less, really. I do thouroughly enjoy music, though. But I can’t say either of those things ever resulted in hatred toward anyone or any thing. So, bad comparison I’d say.
