Well how can you expect Michael Turner to "earn his way" to starting over LT?

It wasn't that difficult for Kerry to win the starting job. He had nobody to beat out.

Using your logic, every single backup is an all pro in waiting

    Bush / Hunt / Naoli

In that order but not in the first round. I wouldn't waste a first on Turner. Jordan's stats were better I believe while he was a Jet and running backup to Curtis. Supposedly, Jordan will be cut or up for trade.

Whoever Mangini and Schottenheimer find to man their runningback by committee.

It's a great strategy to have in a business where even the best runningbacks live from carry to carry waiting for a knee to happen. You just need to find enough interchangeable young parts to make it work. The Jets found a big piece of it in Leon washington last year, now they need to add another piece next year and a piece the year after and so forth. That's how Denver has done it since Terrell Davis proved to Mike Shanahan that even the best runningback in football won't keep you going for long.

I absolutely agree with you. I laugh at TURNER's newly found critics! Most have never seen him play but have a desire to denigrate the guy! Why?

i'd prefer to draft michael bush, while keeping neon leon as a 3rd down receiving back and cedric houston as a goal-line, short yardage, 4th quarter back
