Geezuz what escapability by Teddy then the incredible touch pass on the fingertips.

    Then TWO lasers.

Then a beautiful TD in the corner.

    What a series.

This guy is the real deal.

I'd give up everything to move up to get this guy.

    A special player.

Bridgewater is balling out. 19/26 230 yds 2 td's, end of first half. the last drive was beautiful, 4 perfect throws.

    he's overrated remember ;)

I'm assuming it would take an RG3-esque trade. here's how that went down:

    WAS got 2012 1st (2nd overall pick)

    STL got 2012 1st (6th overall), 2nd (39th overall), 2013 1st (22nd overall), 2014 1st (possibly 1st overall)

If Teddy comes out I can't see a team passing him up. but imagine if the Rams traded down again.

It just seems so effortless for him.

He seems to see the blitzes and defenses perfectly (other than the safety to start the game lol )

That screen for the TD was just so simple. He just looks so calm.

LOL I totally agree. He's is amazing. I just asked you in another thread if you'd trade up for Teddy and if so, what you'd give to move up. Rather than giving up a ton of picks, would you be willing to trade Mo, Coples or Richardson as part of a package to move up?

Coples is tradeable but not the other guys, I'd rather trade future picks.

Fair enough. The problem with that is that Coples could very well have less value than Richardson, and definitely has less value than Mo.

Yes, but IMO Wilk and Sheldon are more valuable to us than any future picks could be. No way would I trade them, we have a historic D line in the making.

Whatever a fair package is PLUS something that made it unfair I'd still do.

The trade we did for Sanchez I'd do in a second. Hell I'd try to resign Abe Elam right now if we could throw him into the trade

Because of Coples and Richardson, I'd hesitate but I'd pull the trigger. And I LOVE Mo.

I do too! It would absolutely KILL me to trade Mo, but if I could get one of the best QB prospects to come out in a long time, I'd have to do it as a QB of his caliber would have a much greater impact on the play and W-L record of the team than even a great DE.

It appears as though a few irrationally exuberant people are willing to live with a bad Jets team for half a decade if one player doesn't prove out or gets hurt.

That's what trading the Jets best players plus high picks for one player would do.

I'd say you guys were idiots but I don't really have too, your posts are making that abundantly clear.

    So true.

Idiots wanting to build around a flawed player at the most important position in football. Lets put weapons around him, flounder for another half decade until the inevitable rebuild.

    Idiots, all of them.

Ah, the exuberance with which we can watch our Jets continue to be mired in mediocrity till we get a true franchise QB.

    Abundantly awesome.

I'm not a fan of trade up's at all but I'm all on board if it's for a franchise QB. I don't think it's gonna happen in this scenario anyway and talking about trading Mo or Sheldon is blashphemy. But we're going to suck for a half decade anyway if we build around Geno.

We're not trading up for Teddy, not ever happening, but it's funny listening to the Geno fanboi's hysterical ravings even contemplating the possibility

I wouldn't trade Mo Wilkerson even up for any QB prospect in this draft.

That's because those guys, talented as they are, are prospects with a real failure possibility based on not actually being NFL players yet.

Mo Wilk is one of the 40 or so best players in the NFL right now. Not a prospect, a player.

Sheldon Richardson even up is a tougher call, but I think he's probably a better player than Mo Wilkerson, just not as mature in his ability yet.
