I like all three. Lee reminds me of Marvin Harrison.

Lee is a great athlete who is also a great receiver when he is not hobbled. He hurt his shoulder in camp and then twisted his knee on a punt return in September. He got kicked just below the knee cap on the same leg a couple of games later.

He's still caught 50 passes this season after catching 118 last year. I really hope he falls to the Jets but I have my doubts. If Evans doesn't come out you have Sammy Watkins and then Lee is the next best receiver.

At this point I don't think there is a real concern that Lee will be off the board when it's our time to pick. Provided he doesn't light the 40 yard track on fire at the combine with some crazy low 4.3s and under time, he may be some one you could trade down and target. Last year around this time, I wouldn't have thought that was possible.

This is a great conversation and all but I really would prefer to not go QB early. We have no playmakers, and our o-line is getting worse and worse. I don't think any young QB would be worth much in this situation. I think the smart move is draft a WR, a TE, a RB, or a OT/OG in the first couple of rounds.

Tonight was the first time I saw Carr play against a tough defense; I'm not impressed.

He's not going to have a great combine time. I'm expecting 4.45 or something like that. I think if he declares for the draft it's going to be because there's a feeling that the NFL is going to somewhat discount the injury-marred season this year and focus on his potential off of last year.

The guy I think about when I watch how he plays is Curtis Martin. He's got that kind of inner fortitude.

I only saw the first quarter, have the rest of the game on DVR. I agree, he didn't look great in the few series I watched but he looked like he put up some numbers. Must have had a pretty decent 2nd half. I'll try to watch before I head out to MetLife.

I wouldn't touch Carr with a 10 foot pole. He's got bust written all over him. Watkins would be a huge coup and I think Lee will be an NFL stud too.

Carr looks like a less mobile version of Ryan Tannehill.

The Jets need plus players on offense more than they need a QB at this point. Get the plus players then go get the QB after you have things stabilized on that side of the ball.

Add a few playmakers and an offensive lineman early then maybe go get a QB for the depth chart in the mid rounds.

^ There's no doubt that they need offensive talent everywhere. However if Manziel or Bridgewater are available then I'd take either of them. Otherwise I agree to stockpile WR's, TE's and/or RB's in the early rounds.

Having CuMar's health and worth ethic would be great, but I hope he runs faster than CuMar, and isn't tackled as easily as CuMar.

I disagree. QB is THE most important position on the team. Any time a team is unsettled at QB and has a chance to draft a QB they like a lot, they have to take it imo. If they got a chance to take Bridgewater and passed they'd be nuts. IMO only he and Manziel are worth of a 1st round grade. It's hard to say what Manziel will do in the NFL. He could get killed due to his size, light the league up with excellent play as a rookie, or be similar to RGIII. If he's there at the Jets' pick, I'd be hard pressed to pass on him, but if I got blown away with a trade down offer, I probably would take it.

Dude that was such a major pet peeve of mine with CuMar. That and fact that he was a former Patriot never allowed me to appreciate him as much as I probably should. Call me crazy but I expect my RB to make at least the first man miss as not everyone can be blocked. Anyway, I agree with Bradway about Lee's mental fortitude compares to CuMart. That's one of the reasons I prefer him over the other top 2 WR (Evans and Watkins).

Manziel passes the ball better than RGIII.
Bridgewater looks like another good fantasy QB/so-so reality QB like Culpepper, RGIII, and Schaub. Murray and Manziel are the two college QBs who I believe "get it". They have shown the ability to go through progressions, have good footwork and throw the ball well.

Mettenberger has a good floor. I see him at least being as effective as Drew Bledsoe or Alex Smith. Unfortunately, 2014 will be redshirt years for Murray and Mettenberger. I do not think it would be nuts for the Jets to go WR in round 1, tight end in round 2, and then get Murray or Mettenberger in round 3.

I would like to see Smith with a full offseason of work and learning and with better players on offense. Smith played in a spread offense at WVU, completely different than the Jets offense.

I would like Manziel in round 1. If not him, then Evans, Lee or Watkins would be nice.

Why do you think Bridgewater would only be a "so-so" QB? He has the size, arm, athleticism, toughness, mobility, and seems to read Ds well.
