Not sure why people are counting out Lee. Robert Woods has proven to be a steal in the 2nd round. Lee is considerably better than Woods. He would also be an incredibly good fit in this offense.

That's what I'm thinking. Teams might overlook Lee, he could slip to early R2, where we will likely have a pick.

Lee is probably going earlier than we assume, by the 8th or 9th pick.

If Evans comes out that equation changes some but Evans is a sophomore and that makes his presence in the pool doubtful.

I just view Watkins and Evans on a different tier. I like Lee a lot, but I dont think he's worth a top 10 pick, which is were we could be drafting. Plus, Lee has had an incredibly down year for what expectations of him were and he's battled injuries (which are never good).

Not sold on Carr. He may put up beast numbers like his bro against shitty competition, but the NFL is a different beast.

Honest question. We're you sold on Geno?

Also not sold on Carr. Was not sold on Geno but thought he had potential. I think Carr has potential. I don't think Carr has 1st round worthy potential.

Honestly, nope. Hated the pick. But whatever direction this franchise decides to go moving forward, I'll continue to support!

There are other QBs that are playing in the NFL (that are good) that played against lesser competitions.

Meh I guess. That doesn't guarantee he'll be like them though, and it's no guarantee he'll suck either. Obviously it's a gamble either way.

For those that dont like Carr... Why?

The guy has arm talent near Jay Cutler. His footwork and movement in the pocket has drastically improved since last year. You dont have only 8 sacks on the ENTIRE year while having over 550 drop backs, and not have very good pocket awareness/movement. To add to that, his offensive line isnt very good. He has a career completion percentage of over 67% and he has a solid build.

    All QBs are a gamble.

Really he reminds me too much of his brother who played against the same mediocre competition in college. Good prospect and potential, but David sucked in the big leagues. Hey who knows, Derek may be the next big thing, but watching him as a Hawaii fan I'm just not impressed.

Perfect scenario jets lose out we get the #1 overall pick (unfortunately that would likely means Rex is gone), we charge a shit ton for the pick. Trade down in the 1st to position for Manziel or Carr, we jump back in the bottom of first to get Marqise Lee.

    yeah thatll never happen

Not saying David Carr would have ever been great but he was drafted to an expansion team and put in a horrible situation. His O-line couldn't block for him and had no talent around him which quickly lead to his demise.
