I think these two guys are extremely important players in terms of getting more reps and playing time in order to see if they can handle a starter role heading into the offseason.

If not, we need an upgrade at NT and CB with Revis likely (hopefully) gone next season. Big positions of need of we want a chance next year.

    QB, CB, OL

    It's gotta be better.

I definitely agree that Burris and Simon should see a lot more playing time if not be starters these last 4 games. The Jets need to see what they have in them.

Bowles does not have the balls, but he should sit or IR Wilkerson and Revis the rest of the year. Revis' refusal to tackle or put out effort is poisoning the team which is again on bowles for playing him.

Keep Jalin scratched and let Devin Smith play.
I'd also like to see Peake.

Petty downfield to Smith.. Our future!

also fuck Revis let him play every god damn snap and let him to continuously get embarassed

I'd be curious to see McDougle back in the secondary. The Jets are going to do a purge of their secondary and they need to see who can play. Get a rotation of Burris, Nick Marshall and Marcus Williams.

I'd like to see them go with a hard 4 man front, Williams/Simon inside Richardson/whoever outside. I'm down on Wilkerson and wouldn't object to benching him, but that would be like rewarding him for playing like a bum.

Why? That makes zero sense. That has been the problem now. They don't have the players to play a 4-man front. They have no 4-3 DEs and only one 4-3 LB (Lee). Mo and Sheldon are more effective as 3-4 DEs than 4-3 DTs.

Fearful that yet ANOTHER 2nd round draft pick will not work out. Do you believe that David Harris (2007) is the LAST 2nd round draft pick that developed into anything??? Think about that. 9 drafts in which we got zip out of the 2nd round pick. There's your reason why the team stinks.

2008 used it to trade up for Dustin Keller.
2009 used it to trade up for Mark Sanchez.
    2010 - VLADIMIR F--KING DUCASSE
    2011 traded for Antonio Cromartie
    2012 -- STEPHEN F--KING HILL
    2013 - Geno Smith
    2014 --- JACE F--KING AMARO
    2015 -- Devin Smith
    2016 -- Christian Hackenburg.

The odds of wasting the 2nd rounder on the above dog$hit players for that long & with that consistency are practically the same as picking a Pro-Bowler in the 2nd round for that long.

What am I saying. Of course you can believe that. You're all JET fans.

Only way to get Simon and Mcclendon on the field unless we shutdown Richardson /andor Wilkerson for the year. I don't think they get on the field otherwise, but you're right it's more out of position playing. The roster building the Jets have done over the last decade is terrible.

Yeah, I was well aware at how Jets have been throwing away 2nd round picks as if they were tooth picks for a long time, but to actually look at what was done year by year since 08 makes me cross eyed.

Yeah Revis should be benched at this point Burris and Skrine should be the two starters.

With Mangold being shelved we will get a good look at Wesley Johnson.

I hate to say it, but I think Nick has played his last game as a Jet.
