yup I also have been having this problem. It's not a big deal but, it kind of screws with the polish. I also am a fan of the new design. I think that given some time, people will get used to this format and come to enjoy it more...
I like the old one better, but it's most likely due to the fact that I've been used to it since about 2006-7 when I first started lurking here. If the old design wins, I'd put the same poll up in about a week or so. I've started to come around to it and will be used to it in a week or so and won't even know the difference. BTW, is there any new features that were added during the makeover? I usually just stick to reading and posting, but I'm just curious here. EDIT Beat me to it. I'm sure a lot of people, including myself, will start to like the new design once I get used to it.
I'm fine with the new design but the contrast with the white background does make it a little harsh on the eyes.
oh, I see the vcash number by the posts is back. I don't mind the new one much, but I don't really see the advantage, so I like the old one better.
Old one. I'm a creature of habit but I'm sure I can get used to this look if it stays. you still can't thank people for posts /sarcasm
I know most people despise change and I usually fall into that category, but I think the new look is infinitely better. Some of you stubborn bastards will come around within a week or two. Petro...i know my opinion is worth exactly .02, but you should keep the newer version either way. The site looks better than ever.
I like the new one but the old one is significantly better in a number of ways. My main issue is the yellowish background. Open up a white browser page next to it and you'll see. Also look at the colour behind the quick reply box compared to the posts above.
