A lot of guys who are under contract will be back for camp at least. I figure Bell and Anderson will both be released early in the 2021 offseason, primarily because of their price tags. Even if the player hasn't been great, if they are cheap they should be back to compete for backup positions.

Outside of Darnold, Becton and a handful of rookies, EVERY AND ALL players need to be traded/“cashed out” now or during the off season. Think I heard Cimini say pre-injury the Jets could have moved Bell and would of had to eat some $ for a 5, if they can, they need to do that. Think NBA and shedding payroll as a strategy ala the Heat when they got Lebron & Bosh. The more blank this slate is, and the more draft picks-ideally spread over multiple years- we have the better. Even if you’re selling for pennies on the dollar. But I wouldn’t worry about the pennies in the dollar part, because most of these guys are truly only worth pennies.
Yeah, unfortunately agreed. Most of the roster is replaceable. It's only Week 5 but the Jets are already in scouting mode. Which players can help in the future? Hopefully some step up the rest of the season and we can add their names to the list.
