I'm gonna have to say the 2004 team. You could think 2002 but the team was improved upon just about in every way. We just didn't win the division that year. Here's looking to a great future. :beer:
gotta go 2004...i cant watch that game vs the steelers without nearly crying...and at the same time that game vs. san diego was unreal, one of the all-time great jets games
That was tottally doug's fault...did anyone remember the chargers (playoff) game before that and the Rams (regular season) game before that he was missing kicks left and right...and as I recall the Jets were using the Punter for kickoffs because of Briens weak leg....that team was the best IMO aside from FUCKING BRIEN
All the more reason not to take a god damn knee losing a few yards instead of trying to get closer for an easier kick. Worst coaching decision of all time.
Hate to admit but you are right... and those were our best years no doubt, but the future looks bright man.
I went with the 2002 team. One thing is for sure: They would've blown this year's team out of the water.
