Our WRs when healthy aren't bad, our secondary is atrocious. W/o the great pass rush they are awful.

Our receivers have been better than the secondary this year and it's not even close.

    Both are weak spots.

The Jets need a dynamic, explosive playmaker at WR. It doesn't matter if it's a slot guy or an outside deep threat. Just need an explosive guy. Kerley is our legit WR. Cumberland is a good backup, decent starting TE. They need a pass catching TE as well.

At CB they need serious help. Still need a pass rushing OLB too.

I'm glad someone brought this up. Drives me crazy sometimes when Rex gives QB's easy reads. Dalton knew it was man and just trusted his guy would get seperation which is fairly easy to do against most of the back end and guys like Pace and McIntyre on TE's It was tough to watch. Like it or not the game in Atlanta which was bend but don't break and even the NE game where they didn't play a ton of man is the right call for this personnel. You can play man in certain situations but if Rex keeps going to that well again and again you will see more days like yesterday.

Rex needs to start confusing the crap out of opposing QBs because when a QB sees man to man with no safety help in sight especially with our CBs, it has been a nightmare watching guys get beat. Rex can't always save his best schemes for the playoffs. This roller coaster ride of winning then losing needs to come to a stop with more consistency from the whole team because Andy Dalton looked like a freaking Hall of Famer passing against the JETS and now the JETS get to face a QB this week in Drew Brees.

What if Rex uses more Cover instead of Man to Man?

Definitely diarrhea. Reason being when I've smelled other's diarrhea it never made me want to have diarrhea. On the other hand, I could've not eaten in 2 days and if I smelled vomit I instantly want to hurl...

By no means is our secondary where it needs to be, but I strongly feel the bigger problem is the absolute lack of speed and defensive push at the LB position. The don't jam the receivers, they don't play well in space at all, consequently the receivers get open in a nano second and run routes that are hard to defend.

Cinci demonstrated than against the Jets they can throw all day long and rip us apart with no freaking pass rush. Teams do not need a running game against us.
As for the secondary, I said it before over and over, IMHO we are no way no how good enough to play M2M defense, particularly with Cro hurting.

I feel better about the WR by far than the Jets D against the pass.
