Toon. I think he was one of the most gifted athletes to ever wear the uniform.

why only since 2000? there were much better players before that. maynard, walker and toon are miles ahead of anybody after 2000.

the only first round pick with a super bowl ring.......a 22 year old broadway joe.

that quick release would help out the OL pass blockers. to say nothing about stretching the field.

joe called his own plays, which eliminates the gase problem, as a bonus.

younger posters confuse statistics with impact, and modern QBs are not as good as namath, hadl, lamonica, dawsson, starr, unitas, etc.
those guys who played the position completely including calling the plays and not throwing dink-dunk passes all game long.

Yup....I remember him coming into TC and it was like....oh shit, he's REALLY skinny! D'Brick struggles a lot putting on weight. Probably why he was never a great run blocker.

This is true but put Chad in an offense like the Saints and I feel like he’d do fine. Those Jet offenses weren’t spread out and creative enough to make up for his lack of arm strength. As is, he has a tick below Brees. What hurt Chad was those numerous blows to his shoulder. Even his smarts and quick decisions didn’t matter when ya arm was basically what Peyton had at the end of his career.

    Easy.

    #24.

Revis in his prime from 2007-2011 was the most dominant Jets player All-Time.

Put Revis of his prime on this 2020 Jets Defense and we're winning a Super Bowl.

Not Revis??? I liked other players better, and we do need a stud O lineman, but I had to choose Revis. The guy was one of the best players in the NFL and changed our defense. I want Revis back - this time for all of his career. Hall of Famer.

    Ooh tough one.

I'll have to go with Pennington.

Probably a top three QB in franchise history, one of the most accurate QBs to ever play and in this era with the way the league protects QBs and WRs he'd be a HOFer.

    Different era.

Defenses can't rough up WRs the way they did back in 2002.

Pennington would be near unstoppable in this era.

Voted Brick but then saw Revis

It’s gotta be Revis and then hope we can improve the oline later in the draft

Best corner many of us have ever seen in the game

People were so pissed with Abraham. He always seemed to be hurt and not performing in big games when we dealt him. It was very much a "don't let the door hit you...." situation. And in typical Jets fashion he goes on to have like 8 more productive seasons and we have been looking for someone of his caliber since

The amount of flexibility he gave our defense was astounding! Imagine if we had a premier pass rusher in those days!

I think if we had a Mack, Bosa brother or even Clowney those defenses might have been a GOAT
