Just looked at NFL.com and there list of INT's ( had to go thru 1963-2009 year by year) but this is what i got out of it. Heres the top 10.

    1. 1986 49ers- 39
    2. 1984 Seahawks- 38
    3. 1981 Cowboys- 37
    4. 1973 Steelers- 37
    5. 1968 Chiefs- 37
    6. 1988 Vikes- 36
    7. 1980 Raiders- 35
    8. 1975 Raiders -35
    9. 1996 Bengals- 34
    10. 1979 Oilers- 34

    Notable All-time Great D's: 85' Bears had 34 Int's and 2000 Ravens had 23 Int's

Most Recently 2009 Packers had 30 last season.

This D IMo could break the Top 10.

i picked the OL cause you have to see if they can replicate what they did last year. and thats with or without faneca.

say they go from elite to above average. that makes running harder, and forces Sanchez to develop faster with less room for error.

ball control helps defenses play better, period.

the OL will also dictate the defenses starting field position.

for all the glamour we have on defense it all means nothing if the line cant block for Sanchez and our backs putting them in a favorable position.

mostly as much as I love watching our defense I dont want to watch them for any longer than 20-25 minutes a game. that tells me our offense is doing their job

after week one no team will come in planning to throw on us, so it's hard to see how our backfield will rack up many aclomades.

with 80% of the plays coming at us running plays, look for jenkins/harris to battle it out for team MVP

They can't run forever, once we start putting points on the board the opposing team is going to have to start throwing the ball.

Also can you imagine how much fun Rex is going to have on 3rd and long this year? If you thought it was great to watch last season, just wait until he actually has his studs in place.

This is going to be fun...

New to the site. Is it really fair how we just get richer on the DEFENSE EVERY OTHER DAY?

We should just punt on first downs and let Revis and company play 55 minutes :p

    Secondary.

If Cromartie, Wilson, and Pool are the 3 to put us over the top on guys like Peyton Manning and Drew Brees then we will be hoisting the Lombardi Trophy on February 6th, 2011. That is the only reason why we lost that AFC Championship Game (didn't help that Shonn Greene went down with 29 minutes to go either).
