HaHa! agreed.. but i'd have to say New England. They looked tough against Miami and Cassell's coming on now.
The only AFC team that scares me is The Jets because if they play like they did today the only way they lose is to beat themselsves.
the one match up i dont want to see is the pats. division games are always scary and they match up with us much better than the phins.
We wont lose to the Steelers...stop the run and you beat them and we can stop the run...the Pats...the can't run and I am not sold on Casell despite the 400...that leaves the Colts....they are proven and if they beat the Chargers tonight they are back...and i think they will... They could mess it up for us....
Gotta go with the Pats. With Cassel now making it look like Brady was never hurt, they are the most complete team in the AFC (besides us of course).
Oh fuck that--we should try to remember Mr. E's comment here and bring it up again when SD starts kicking peoples ass in the playoffs. All they have to do is win tonight and they're right back in it. And they are the team to fear for the Jets--that team is our nemesis and I don't see beating them. We could play them 10 times and lose every time. Keeping them the fuck out of the playoffs is our best hope. Root with all your might for Indy and even then, start rooting for Denver.
the colts with the pats a close second.any team with 2 legit wrs and a qb who knows how to read defense is the biggest threat to our d.see chargers game second half of cards and pats games
I think I'd enjoy facing NE again in the playoffs. If you're going to be a legitimate SB contender, then you have to defeat your demons, and NE is the very definition of demon to the Jets.
No question.....Patriots. I was rooting for Miami today, because I want the Pats out of the picture. Last week may have semi-exercised some demons, but if you came away from that game confident that the Jets will beat the Pats in the playoffs, then you are viewing the world through green colored glasses.
Look, I live in San Diego and watch the Chargers all the time. I realize they beat us up in week 3 but you guys are really overrating the fucking Chargers. That team is a wreck. We had a lot of issues back then that we simply don't have now. That was Favre's third game for fuck's sake. Also, our running game was shit in the first four weeks of the season. Now, we have one of the best rushing attacks in the NFL. Finally, IF the Chargers ever did end up sneaking into the playoffs (something I don't think they will even accomplish), I think it's pretty safe to say that if we had to play them that the game would be in our building. The Chargers are an excellent road team but a TERRIBLE road team. Seriously guys, take a chill pill and don't worry about the Chargers. You should hear what people in San Diego think of them.
Yeah I live in socal and one of my best friends is a chargers fan and he has totally given up on them already even though they still have a pretty good shot of going to the playoffs by winning their division.
Pats, without a doubt. Then I put Steelers and Titans on the same level below them. Not really afraid of anyone else in the AFC. The NFC looks a lot better than the AFC for the first time in a while.
NE and Indy definitely scare me the most, however as it stands now we woldn't have to face either one of them until most likely the championship game which would be in our house, in that case I like our chances against anyone.
Pats. Just because they schooled us in the 2nd half of that game; we couldn't stop them no matter what we tried.
