The Pats lose when Tom Brady has a bad game. If he's clicking then the entire team becomes dangerous.

You are what your record says you are.

Saints on a bye week move up what, 10 spots?? That game you speak of was against Carolina and their 3 different QB's used.

Atlanta who is 10 on your list, is in first place ahead of the Saints, and just beat the Ravens who were ranked #1 last week.

I could go on and on about each pick, but putting NO first is proof enough that your list was purely meant as a joke.

Not a joke. I believe after all that's said and done, and when Reggie Bush and Pierre Thomas are healthy, along with Sharper back at Safety, the New Orleans Saints are the best team in the league and would be able to handle other teams.

I just don't see Atlanta being as good as the Saints. When you break it down where does Atlanta have the edge? Runningback? Can you name anything else? Maybe pass rush.

    True

That sqeaker pales in comparison to the complete beatdown the Jets put on the Lions and Packers.

You realize power rankings deal with now right?

Not what you think they will be down the road. Right now, the Saints are not number 1, your right, maybe they do end up taking it but right now Atlanta and Philly in the NFC alone are both better. Not to mention countless AFC teams.

You omitted Cleveland. But then your statement wouldn't carry as much weight.

Saints handily beat the Steelers, and I consider the Steelers to be top of the AFC class. So we could go on arguing this for hours, but it is what it is. I think NO would have the edge against Atlanta and Philly if they played.

Nice straw man argument, but the Browns say hi!

I'm not even arguing the Jets need to be ranked over the Patriots. All I'm saying is that the Steelers win isn't as impressive as people are making it out to be. It was a good win.

Stop back after the Colts dice you up this week.

We beat you easily just like the Browns.

The brothers Ryan have you figured out.

Steelers lost to Pats, should've lost to Miami, lost both their starting Offensive Tackles and their best front 7 player. They're right where they were last season, unless you think Polamalu alone can will them to victories? The top three teams in that division could all be 9-7 or thereabouts. I think week 17 is crucial to them all and I think the second wild card spot is a tossup between about 7 teams. Pats or Jets get the 5 seed.

Roddy White is better than Colston, hands down. Matt Ryan is playing better than Drew Brees and the Falcons already have a win over the Saints, in their building. Ryan is like 16-1 at home for his career and guess where the Falcons play the Saints next? Oh, at home. Falcons are the best NFC team.

    Just as I suspected.

Way over your head. Let me really dumb it down for you.

Due to the subjective nature of "power rankings", they are the interpretation of ranker. As such, you shouldn't get caught with the ranking but the criteria.

A few of your fellow Mensa types were discussing Lombardi on NFLN the other night. What is completely lost on your fellow geniuses was Lombardi's opinion was based on the "team to beat" concept with Lombardi placing premium emphasis on a unit's ability to improve.

You may not agree with his criteria (or understand it because the double digit IQ threshold is beyond average "gangreen" smarts level). However, it is a reasonable way to view the NFL at week 11.

I wasn't talking about Power Rankings, they mean dick. I imagine you like both, just a guess. Nothing wrong with it.

I said we beat you, as did the Browns. WHAT THAT MEANS IS, we will beat you again. Your defense sucks. Got it now?

I hope you come back next week to discuss power rankings when your 7-3 ranked behind the colts and we remain in first for the 2nd week.

Vick looked good against the lousiest defense in the NFL, but that doesn't mean the eagles are a lock for Dallas just yet.
