Part of it is that they've been playing him like a free safety, his college position. Because we're giving quarterbacks unlimited time in the pocket, we've had to leave Rhodes and Coleman both back to assist in coverage and the TE duties have fallen to Bryan Thomas. Kerry's had to drop further back off the line. What's interesting now is that Eric Smith is coming in (technically) at FS, but I'm guessing he gets used more on the strong side and they leave BT to pressure the QB. You won't see more of Kerry because Smith's in. You'll see him playing the same role he's played all season.
