    It was in 00 now that I think of it I stand corrected. Still, when Hall left for the Skins I didn't view it as a big loss at all. Thomas and Coles however pissed me off although I thought Thomas for a guard was slightly overpaid.

    it was in 2000. the very next week we took it to baltimore and should have won except for an INT returned for a TD and 2 Punt Returns taken all the way back
     
  4. Thomas was more than slightly overpaid. At the time, Washington made him the highest paid guard in the NFL...interestingly enough Thomas had no pro bowls up to that point...and I believe has only 1 since..

    Ugh I remember that...Jerome Lewis just torched the Jets, Mike Sweetman got canned from the fallout as I recall.

    Cox broke his leg on a goal line stand. It was cold and rainy, and we lost to the Lions.:sad:

    John Hall was awful. I cringed everytime he stepped onto the field. I was glad to see him go.
