I don't see that anywhere, but if you go to the team page and then batting splits, it will show the team OPS+ in various situations. That number basically compares how that team does in those situations compared to league average and can give you an idea. For example, the Sox have an OPS+ of 127 with 2 outs and RISP, so they are 27% better than league average in that situation. The only drawback is you'll have to go from team to team to do it, it's not all on one page.
Holy shit. I was ignoring your return until now, but could you please STFU. Do NOT make this thread another one about you. I'm actually hoping that at some point a mod will find it worthy of sticky-ing because of its usefulness to everyone in the forum. If you start your regular bullshit that's sure to never happen.
I didn't bring my name up so don't start your BS. It's pretty simple to find stats on the internet, do a simple search. I doubt this is really helping anyone. What baseball fan hasn't heard of baseball reference before?
ya that says it all right there. what kind of defensive metrics do you guys like to use? personally i use the +/- system, courtesy of fielding bible.
Had I heard of it before I wouldn't have asked would I? Some baseball fans don't need to spend all day on a stats site consuming math like it's going out of style. Personally, I love the game. I don't need stats to do that.
In order to have heard of baseball-reference you need to spend all day on the site? Myabe on firejoetorre.com or firejoegirardi.com come they should post those links for you?
