I wish tomorrow was more than just round 1. Anyway, wings and $2 coronas all night at this bar downtown.

If anyone ever served me a shrimp that looked like that I would probably think they were trying to poison me

Not sure if Tonyftlaud just did a google image search because that does come up under someones pintrest as shrimp francese but it could just be someones poor attempt at making it. The flour and egg is meant to be very light, looks like someone used a dozen eggs and pound of flour for those few shrimp.

Let me stop now before someone thinks Stokes hacked my account.

Then don't eat at La Piazza in Marlboro NJ cause that's what you will get. That's where that dish is from

Way too much flour and looks like they butterflied the shrimp trying to devein it and over cooked it. It's supposed to be from an Italian restaurant in Jersey.

Luckily the wife works late tonight so I can do whatever I want (for once!).

I plan on starting the evening off with a bowl of Blue Cookies when I get home from the office to take care of that pesky glaucoma I can't seem to shake followed by a brisk walk to the local Korean spot for some Spicy Pork Over Rice. I will then proceed around the corner from the Korean place to the local watering hole to Catch some of the Yankees/Sox game in preparation for the draft while drinking a Firestone Nitro Merlin Milk Stout or two.

Once the draft starts, if the Browns pick Mitch with the first pick I'm going to be bummed and have a tumbler of Dewar's White Label to drown my sorrows since I fell in love with the of trading the #6 to the Browns so they could scoop him up there and the Jets picking up McCaffrey or Howard with the 12 if they were still on the board. If the Browns draft Myles first I am going to hold off on the Scotch until the 5th pick and have it "for luck" in hopes that the Titians don't trade the pick to the Browns to grab Mitch there. After the 5th pick I will request a fresh hot basket of the bars house made Popcorn (They have an Old School Popcorn machine with the Oil and everything!) and wait it out with baited breath and hope that there is an impact OFFENSIVE player at 12 for the Jets to grab. I really do think that this is the year the Jets go O in the first round. With Mac and Todd on shaky ground and Hack waiting in the wings I really do think that they are going to do everything to get him as much help as possible. If Fournette is still on the board I want him, if not Howard or McCaffrey in that order. I know that Howard & McCaffrey may not have a #6 pick value but sometimes I think you have to over pay.

Regardless, I am looking forward to the draft because that means it is one day closer to the NFL season. I've been a season ticket holder for 27 years and I expect this season to be pretty brutal but it's still football. Hell I'm even going to do my first Jets road trip this season down to New Orleans. If that's not a dedicated (stupid) fan then I don't know what is. 2-14 here we come! and next year I want Rosen in the first! Hope everyone enjoys this evening!!!
