O-line? Only one player on the team a bigger bust than Sanchez: Vladmir Ducasse.

    What a joke.

Cut him now, open a roster spot.

Ducasse says hello. The Jets still need to draft a tackle, however.

oh i think the jets need to take the steelers approach and immediately begin to rebuild the OL, starting next april.

for me that means drafting a center/guard and tackle within the first three rounds next year.

no projects but 4 year starters that have been extensively scouted.

    not sexy picks but imperative.

I can understand, and agree with Moore being old. But Mangold? Yeah, he got older, but its not like he's anywhere close to his decline. He's still got two more seasons before he's 30. He's got plenty left in his prime before his age can be discussed.

I sure do hope we don't draft a Center anywhere near the first four rounds. We do need to fix the right side of the OL. However, I hope we go pass rusher in the first round. Jets have ignored the need for several years now.

Mangold has not played well this season. Hes constantly getting pushed back into Sanchez. And Moore has been terrible. The whole line has been shit. Not sure if Linebacker or Oline is worse

Its absolutely amazing how much of a drop off the Jets have had on the offensive line since 09. Brick-Faneca-Mangold-Moore-Woody, was a dominant line. A great mix of vets and up and coming young linemen, with experience playing together.

Since then the Jets have ignored the offensive line every year, letting guys go and using patchwork bullshit to get by. It's definetely catching up to them.

Mangold is still good, but Brick has not been the dominant LT they were hoping for. He's still a solid starter and I am by no means advocating getting rid of him, but as the No.4 overall pick you would hope he'd be the key cog. He's a good pass blocker but you can't run behind him. That's a huge disappointment. It makes it all the more worse that the LG position has been weak too with Slauson/Ducasse. Eventually you had to think Moore would decline and he hasn't looked that good this season, so maybe its upon us. He's still a saavy vet I just wish there was someone decent waiting in the wings since he's been here so long. And don't get me started on the RT position!

It's amazing how it only took 3 years to take the very best offensive line and turn it into this shit. 1 very good lineman (Mangold), 1 above average(Ferguson), 1 aging/on decline(Moore) 2 shitheads and no depth what so ever!!!

Tannenbaum is obviously to blame, but he also helped build the original line so why the sudden change? Was Callahan to blame because they trusted too much that he'd be able to coach up these flawed youngsters, from his lobbying? Is Rex's insistence on drafting defense getting in the way of selecting more accomplished linemen early? Is Brick to blame because he didn't turn out to be as dominant as they hoped so they cannot afford to hide weaker linemen around him?

I don't know it may be a little of all of that but either way the Offensive Line is WEAK and on DECLINE. Not good.

That's what happens when you draft "projects" in the 2nd round (Ducasse) and they turn to shite.

Ducasse has graded out better than Moore or Slauson in limited (64) snaps this year. So if he's shit then I guess we're in real big trouble based on how our starters are doing.

We miss Bill Callahan and D' Brick sucks again so Mangold and Moore are the least of our problems

Moore is clearly on the decline. He's not the player he once was.

We need an entire new right side of our O line next season, and Vlad should start over Slauson at left guard.
