It was reported that Bowles left the combine on Wednesday to tend to a "personal matter"...stemming from his ex-wife's funeral which is scheduled for today(Friday). As such he & Mac's scheduled press conferences were pushed back to Thursday. Unclear why Mac didn't do one at all.
I'd also like the Jets to stop trying to be cute. Everyone else is trying to rush the passer from the outside or incorporating the TE in the offense for example and the Jets ignore that and try to do their own thing going back several coaches. If it's working throughout the league stop acting like we know something no other team has figured out.
They don't scout edge or skill players well. I guess ignoring those positions completely is their defense mechanism against this fact.
Kurt, this is not a factual statement. You can't compare how Mac and his new scouting team evaluate and draft players compared to how Idzik, Tanny, Bradway or others drafted. Jets fans need to stop making statements like that.
Eh... Idzik cut more draftees in one year [2014] than Mac did in two years combined [2015, 2016]. [Yeah - that's not saying much, I know.]
I think it is very important in this age of so called "False News" that you look beyond what ESPN says. It is amazing how things get misrepresented in the media and people just go along with it. Everyone complains about Spygate and Deflategate and misses the real sin the Patriots did. How about Hernandez? They must have noticed the gang tattoos on him? If a man really has repented, would he not have rid himself of these tattoos? Is it not obvious they made a deal with the devil in resigning him? I could say the same thing about "False news" regarding anti-spygate/pro Patriots propaganda. 1. Deflategate is not a false news. If you lack the sufficient knowledge to understand the mechanics behind it, at least acknowledge that it is not a fake bullshit. I don't know about that spygate - I never liked that informer Mangini after all - but deflategate is real, and gives Brady - and the entire offense, to a degree - a very tangible advantage. [I can prove this to you, if you really want.] 2. Patriots cheat. Like we didn't know.
I do understand the Ideal Gas law since I was unfortunate at one time to take a class on thermodynamics. However I can't say with any certainty, meaning 100% confidence whether the Patriots cheated here or not. Anyone who claims they can, is full of the smelly stuff. Maybe they did maybe they didn't, but ESPN did make false statements about the story and then made corrections late at night when nobody was listening. ESPN also stated that the Patriots video taped the Rams walk through and then retracted afterwards. I can't expect you or anyone else as a Jet fan to like the Patriots, but as an American I can expect you to demand that our media is truthful and does not have a agenda when telling a story. Before passing judgement read the entire Wells report, its an extremely shaky argument.

Deflategate wasn't a criminal case, so proof beyond a reasonable doubt wasn't a necessary standard. And considering Brady destroyed his phone, I would say the preponderance of evidence indicates he cheated.
