I wouldn't consider that run a "lucky" one....the Packers had a stable QB, quick Wideouts, and a shutdown Defense. They were a "hair" away from making the Super Bowl. I think the Packers core roster is a pretty good one.....hopefully Aaron Rodgers is the real deal for the Packers...or you could end up like previous Jets teams...having a great core of players with a QB question mark.
split with the patsies sweep mia and buf make playoffs win superbowl favre nfl mvp sb mvp reveals he fudged his birth certificate to get into pee wee football early making him only 35 signs a 4 year extension the jets get roy williams next season and don't lose another game until 2013 ..................sorry got a little carried way not that i dream about shit like this or anything
I live in Canada and our beer is mediocre at best lol. I mean if you're comparing schlitz and old milwalkee to Canadian and Blue I would agree with you but in general the States is far far superior when it comes to crafting beer.
I think we will finish 10 and 6. To be entirely honest even if it was a 4-12 season again and every game was close and exciting i'd be happy.
Nothing less than a Superbowl. They spent the money because they did not want to rebuild so anything less would be a failure.
If you're drinking Club or OV...then you have an argument...but any other Canuck beer, you're in the minority. American beer is for lightweights, bud. I'm not dissing the U.S.A.....the cereal aisle in their grocery stores is my idea of what heaven should be like....but their beer...not so much.
I don't think many people expected them to make the playoffs. Especially with absolutely no running game and a very young, raw team. Favre carried them early on and the team really gelled (for the most part) later on.
yeah..i was one of those skeptics that didn't think they would have as much success as they did....but I..and my Fantasy Football team..were pleasantly surprised
You are kidding right? Ever hear of Rouge, Dogfish Head, Anchor Stream, Brooklyn Beer Company, Smuttynose, Victory, New Belgium Brewery, Stone Brewing Co., Shipyard Brewing Company, North Coast Brewing Company, Left Hand Brewing, The Lost Coast Brewery, Anderson Valley Brewing Company, Pisgah Brewing Company, Live Oak Brewing, Flying Dog Brewery, Sam Adams? We have maybe 2-3 company's that brew many types of good beer here in Canada and none of them are Molson or Labatt.... If you live in Toronto I'll take you out for a couple of weak ass American beer. I'm sure you wouldnt be able to find the flavours in a Dogfishhead 90 minute i.p.a. lol
yeah..i've heard of a few of those...Sam Adams isn't too bad. But i'll take a Kokanee, Fort Garry, Labatt Blue, Molson or Miller Genuine Draft any day of the week over any of those you mentioned. I could drink a shitload of American beer..and not have a buzz....it's for lightweights, dude....especially that Busch beer....I thought it was non-alcoholic beer when i first tried that stuff. We'll have to agree to disagree, my friend. EDIT: I don't live in Toronto..I"m in Winnipeg. But I'll be flying out to Toronto some time in the late fall for work...we'll have to have a "beerfest" to settle this...maybe will include Jtuds in this as well....so there's a witness
those are always the best seasons  but even those can leave bitter feelings if they don't end perfectly..
Well if your saying that we as Canadians produce better Macro Brewed crap full preservatives and corn and rice adjuncts than the Americans, then I would agree with you. However when it comes to real beer the States blows us the fuck away.
