You see that Monday Night Football game against the Titans? Never witnessed anything like that in my 23 years of existence.
If Sanchez put up those stats he would finally fall in line with the progression of QB's in this league. Look at Manning of disregard Sanchez 52 turnovers (if we only could hope to) If he pulled off those stats there would be hope.
...........if he just uses basic, common sense....maybe...there's a chance...he might.....hope & change...... Just play smart! Is that askin' 2 much!!??
If he plays well and we win people will cheer him. And have short memories,,,,,,that said I don't think he can change what he is,,,the same mental mistakes just keep happening,,,,I would love for him to prove the nay Sayers wrongbut have a. Hard time imagining that will happen
LOL. "Routinely" Maybe you are just shitfaced, like usual, and sort of foggily remembering an argument that junc makes about how the defense didn't perform well in the playoffs, but I really have to see what pathetic argument you offer up to support this post. Edit: I think I should probably know better than this. You'll forget you ever made this post.
Some Jets fans have battered wife syndrome. Sanchez will always beat and abuse you, its time for you to walk away.
You seem to have a very keen understanding of battered wife syndrome. Not so much about understanding the concept of discussions on message boards. Do you spend most of your time in support groups, or in jail?
I was just throwing numbers out there off the top of my head that would be considered an above average NFL QB (at least IMO). If I wanted to be totally unrealistic, I would say something like the year Rodgers had a couple years ago (something like 44 TDs and 6 picks too lazy to look it up). Like abyzmul said, crazier things have happened in the NFL. I think I agree with the majority in the thread that as long as the interceptions aren't extremely idiotic and he plays CONSISTENTLY well, then the fans will embrace him again. The numbers don't necessarily need to be what was in the OP but if they were anything less than a 2:1 TD to turnover ratio, I'd still be concerned. Thanks for the input and props abyzmul, it's appreciated.
Sorry and with all due respect to Jets fans who think that Mark will somehow become a serviceable QB for the Jets. Mark Sanchez is a fundamentally flawed QB who will have issues his whole career. Mark does not throw an accurate ball, after four years he is very poor at reading defenses, he is too easily panicked into mistakes, he is mentally weak once things begin to go against him. Believe me I wish this was not so. I have watched this Jets team since Joe Willy and Mark just does not have the skill or force of will to carry a team.
I dont think he's thrown the ball away ever. He decides to take a sack or throw a pick 6 instead. I cant believe we are discussing this.
I don't think we will ever need any proof that he is full of shit. He proves it dozens of times a day.
This is like saying that DanR hardly ever makes a post without including undertones of spousal abuse. Try to be more than a schmuck for a change.
Good threads deserve credit. They are rare. I'm going to the other side for a minute. I don't think he will ever achieve what I am saying in this thread, D. I want him to. I have since April of 2009. But I don't believe in it for reasons that I just don't want to get into here. It sucks. After 2010, I was ready. He started out well the next season and the rest is well documented. But for the sake of your thread, if he does certain things, I'm back on board.
