What would it do for the NFL if Allen vs Darnold becomes the next great qb rivalry?

I haven't been this excited as a bills fan in decades. With thammy gone we really could see a new era of QBs and a rivalry renaissance...

Patrick Mahomes is likely to replace Tom Brady as an annual AFC Championship Game QB. The Chiefs are going to be good and for a long time. The Ravens with Lamar Jackson are likely to be successful for the foreseeable future too. So expect to see some Ravens-Chiefs AFC Championship Games.

Buffalo does look like a solid team though, so they definitely could make a run similar to what the Titans did this season.

I think a Darnold-Allen AFC Championship would be a breath of fresh air though. Let's take a step back and say an AFC Wild Card game between the Jets and Bills. That would be cool too.I would love it.

Did we get unlucky losing to two teams that hadn't beaten anybody up until that point in the season?

We had one of the easiest schedules we have have had for a long time and just done enough to blow a top 10 pick.

    YAY YAY YAY

I think a Jets-Bills playoff game would be great. It would add to the rivalry. Let's be honest both teams have a stronger rivalry with the Pats and Fins. I do think the Jets-Bills have a good chance to become the AFCE version of Steelers-Ravens. Beane and McDermott have built a good team. If Allen takes the next step then the Bills will be a serious SB challenger. Douglas has work to do but Darnold will be a franchise QB IMHO. He just needs a better team around him. I am not sold on Gase though but obviously I am rooting for him being a Jets fan.

Douglas is attacking the jets oline like Beane did for buffalo last year.

Jets draft beckton and another ot in the mid rds darnold will look great

I predict jets offense will be

    Perriman
    Beckton*
    McGovern
    Andrews
    Winters
    Fant
    Herndon
    Crowder/ Berrios
    Reagor*
    Darnold
    Bell

I think the jets will resign beachum and shell for depth...

Jets defense is very good as long as they stay healthy.

I see the jets going oline and we twice in the draft

    2 early
    2 late

It would look like Madden. We'll be lucky to win 6 games next year with the west coast trips on deck.

Maybe we'll be like the Seahawks and 49ers but hopefully both teams will be great for longer periods of time. If the Jets and Bills both won SBs and beat each other to get to the SB in their respective years I wouldn't be angry, both fanbases deserve a win.

You that scared of the Chargers? 49ers are coming here.

Rams are a sinking ship too. Seattle will be tough.

As long as the Seahawks don't bungle their hire of Carroll's replacement, they'll be very good for the next several years because of Wilson. And because of Wilson (and GM John Schneider), it shouldn't be hard for them to land a good coach. On the other hand, the 49ers will suffer the same fate all teams without top-tier QBs do: their young core will grow older and expensive, and they'll lose until they can restock again.

I have news for you, Garoppolo is better than both Darnold and Allen.

Garoppolo has been in the league since 2014 and plays for a stacked team with a good offensive coach. Put him on the Jets or Bills, and he wouldn't match his 49ers performance. Put him on the Jets or Bills in his second year in the NFL, and he'd probably suck.
