who said he makes 3 FGs? 3 FGs is just one of the ways to get 9 points. 1) TD, missed PAT, 1 FG 2) TD, PAT, Safety... there is more then one way to get 9 points
Just a gut feeling. Your running game is not your strength, and I think you will have Penny throwing early and often. Our passing D is not the greatest and I think we are due for some burnage on some long passes. Just think it will be a high scoring half, and a low scoring second half.
Well, I am trying to be unbiased. When healthy, Penny is a very good QB, end of story. And as of now, lol, Penny is healthy.
I think the Jets have a better chance of winning this game than the second one, but I just don't see it happening. The youth and inexperience of this squad, with all of the other factors... I know the Pats have question marks, but Belichick knows how to exploit weaknesses. And we have many.
thats true. i dont think we'll be able to win many games this year becuz after watching last weeks game we have a terrible running game. pennington is good when healthy, just like what dirtywater sed, but can we rely on him to throw 300+ every week?
I'd love for Penny to rack up Week 1 stats again, but I just don't see it happening against the Patsies. No matter who's playing defense, Belichick seems to have Pennington's number. Now that the Jets are especially one-dimensional on offense, I doubt they'll manage to put up big points. I still have some hope that Mangini will be able to figure out Belly's D with his inside info, and that Schotty can whip up some more of those creative schemes we saw last week, but my overwhelming pessimistic side only sees a struggling Jets' O. Here's to pleasant surprises...
I think pennington will need to win this one. I know he hasnt had his best games vs the pats. I am going to say Jets 24 Pats 17 The jets win on a late game drive from pennington. The field goal comes earlier in the game. I hope this one is too close to call
