Stop being foolish, Mike Tomlin deliberately attempted to trip a player in a game last year that could have caused harm and that was a hefty fine but no draft pick loss.

Belichick has spoken highly of both Rhodes and Revis when they were Jets which led to no tampering complaints(As it should be)

AT MOST a fine on Johnson directly which is where it hits him hardest.

I think the punishment for tampering would probably be restricted to Goodell getting out the backup tapes of the Pat's cheating and making Woody watch them with his eyes taped open so he could find out exactly how the Pats got over from 2001 to 2004.

He just publicly apologized for misspeaking about DR. Meant to say that he would have loved to have Revis back at the time. Didn't intend on saying "Would love for Revis to come back"..

    Called Kraft to apologize.

CFB is so much better than the NFL anyway.

I only heard it as it was happening, and not the replays, but this was the impression I got when I heard it the first time, (that he would have loved to have him back)

Yea,.. in context that's what it seems like. But his verbiage was in present tense.

Who is the owner here? Geez, if I was the Wood Man, I'd have walked into Idzik's office and said "see if we can work something out". They're afraid of talking to Revis' people? Really? So insane!

Saying he would love to have Revis back in a press conference where, among other things, Revis signing elsewhere, is not the same as contacting an agent. C'mon man. There might be a fine, that's about it.

Its not enough for Pats fans to just enjoy their team's success. They have to troll Jets message boards to bother us for absolutely no reason. I think they root more against us than their own team.

Nothing to see here folks... No harm no foul...

Besides, with Rex gone, a Jets reunion for Revis loses some of it's allure.

Well Pats fan or not by rule Woody did tamper, it's stupid but he did. Now the NFL will have to go through with an "investigation" which will probably end with some money being donated to charity. That's all.

BTW did The Cowboy lose any picks last year when Jerry Jones "tampered" with Adrian Peterson?

Woody should be fined just for being an idiot. Just dock em $2500 for being a dumbass.

Admits forcing Rex on Idzik was a mistake, then begins interviewing HC candidates before the next GM is in place. $2500 for being stupid, donated to the Human Fund. Money for people.

You're right - this should cost Woody. I think a hoodie with the sleeves cut off would be about the proper compensation.

You're right too. I think a seventeenth round pick is in order. Oh, wait...
