I could be wrong. But didn't BT stuff Marshawn Lynch for no gain a play or two before they made that first down. I realize they still made that first down, but Lynch had an open field and I believe the only player on that side was Thomas, if he hadn't stopped him then the Bills wouldve scored, and there wouldve been no comeback chance. Like I said this might've happened earlier in the game, and I could be confusing it.
I'd forgotten about this, but I had exactly the same feeling watching the game live. From that shot it really looked like he did his best to get out of the way of the ball. Then I got so caught up in the weird finish that I forgot. Just a weird angle, I guess, and the lack of depth perception on my stupid two-dimensional TV picture...
