What the Jets did with Vernon Gholston’s Contract

    Don't get me wrong, I'm on the same exact page as you. I'd give him a slightly longer rope to hang himself, but if he isn't making an impact by the time the calendar flips to October, he's got to be gone.

    This is Ghost's last chance. All I've been arguing is that people shouldn't be actively rooting against him, hoping that he fails. As a Jet, we should all be hoping that this move to end suddenly looks like genius and that he excels, thereby making the entire defense better.

    If he doesn't capitalize, I'll pack his bags for him.

    As for Coleman, the same basically goes for him. I don't like the guy either. But he's a Jet, so I'm going to keep faith in Rex that he can get this guy to "get it." I think Gholston has a better shot of success than Coleman, simply because Gholston's job is a lot less "learning" and a lot more of him just using his body more effectively. Somehow I don't see Coleman suddenly appearing less lost out there. Who knows though? Faith in Rex, right?
