Try looking at the facts of the situation before you repeatedly blurt out ignorance. Opinions are great, but they are best when based on facts.

Seriously. We all bust our asses off for our livings. All he does is play a game. To people like us, a million dollars is life changing money. This ass hole wants at least 16 "guaranteed life changes" to run on a field and tackle people, in full padding.

    He can eat one.

    Crucify him.

Ask Dennis Byrd how this game helped him. I'm with you on Revis being greedy, but unlike most other sports this can cause serious injuries.

I can't decide whether or not it's ironic that "Revis of Nazareth" would be pushing for crucifixion. Little help?

Too much, I would resend the original contract with a set date of acceptance or it will be rescinded & I'll make MeviS sit out the length of his contract w/out gettting a penny.

Obviously, burying his agents in cement would be the most cost-effective approach.

So does construction work, fire fighting, police work, etc. Why does the danger of the sport justify Revis demanding $16 million per???

Good point, I didn't look at it this way, this guy is almost as good at holding out as he is at playing football.

I'm in no way supporting Revis demanding $16 mill per I was just saying you can't compare the NFL to everyday jobs.

My brothers father in-law was a cop who had a heart attack on duty. He now receives nearly $100 grand a year from the state.

Again, I think Revis should be paid $12 mill max and even that's pushing IMO.

I am proud of you other Jets fans. Only 32 of all the voters have picked "Cave and pay him".

I agree with many of you about the Jets should give their final offer and a deadline it expires. If he isn't in before the first game he should sit out the whole year. Then rinse and repeat the next two years afterwards.

Its time to trade him for a 7th round draft pick. Better than nothing at this point.

If there is a team dumb enough to give us two 1st round picks with a conditional 3rd pick and give him the contract he wants the Jets should jump at it.

With the draft picks to strengthen our team and the money saved to resign Harris, Holmes, Edwards, Cromartie we would be far better off than with one conceeded prick.

Amen Brother. The jerk deserves some karma. If he is willing to screw with our beloved Jets then our beloved Jets and the fans should screw with him. The jerk doesn't realize that he could lose everything by taking the advice of those idiots representing him. Karma is a bitch.

The Jets should put a 10 year $120 million $40 million guaranteed offer on the table as a take it or leave it offer for 48 hours. If he doesn't take it, then decrease it by $2 million ($1 million in salary and $1 million in guaranteed money) for every day that passes. This is fair, because every day that he is not in camp now lessens his value to the team. And the Jets should not budge on this.

So starting Wednesday, the offer becomes $118 million and $39 million guaranteed. Thursday it is $116 million and $38 million guaranteed. By Sunday it will be $110 million and $35 million guaranteed. And so on. He will either be in camp by Tuesday or will hold out all season.

I don't think he is coming back. I think his career as a Jet is over. That is S&F's MO.
