He is not really like anyone I can think of. He is not as mobile as Romo and he is a LOT more steady in the pocket and IMO a much better passer than Rothlisberger. The thing that is most promising about him is he shows an intense amount of focus and has no fear. I hope he can hold on that.
i posted a story a while ago about the similarities between the two, i mentioned in that how kellen can move around in the pocket and scramble, but will still wait for his recievers to get open, kind of like big ben tries to do (not against us!), i like his ability to buy more time , it is one of the most underrated atributes a qb can have, keeping the play alive
I like a more mobile Drew Brees comparison...or how bout this one too, get ready for this crazy one, but I see flashes of a less accurate and not as good of a running QB, but Steve Young...to an extent..I dnno though.
The stats are actually the opposite of Pennington. Less than 50% completed, but led the team to a victory.
Phil Simms, and not just because of the #11. They have about the same arm strength (above average but not great) good at scrambling around and buying time, though by no means a running quarterback good field general
LOL and I was being completely sarcastic. He in no way reminds me of Chad, especially in the last minute of games.
