    Its funny you say that, because one of my favorite sites (The Metal Observer) had three ratings on it, and each of em were tens. And I generally tend to trust that site. Anyways...

    I've been a Maiden fan for over 20 years, and "A Matter Of Life And Death" is the best release they've had since the late 80's {in my opinion}. The songs are long{not too long}, there's plenty of time changes, and some of the best guitar solos I've heard from them in years. I was very impressed, and I'm not the easiest fan to please either. I can't say I really enjoyed Maiden's previous two efforts as much as this new one. I simply love it, and it's getting rave reviews too. If you're a MetalHead, buy it.....

    I wish this had come out 3-4 years back. I simply cant get into any power metal anymore. Sure classic Maiden and such are great...but nowadays I just prefer the more extreme stuff...and if I want something lighter...i like the simple hair stuff like Ratt.

    I dont think ill be buying the new maiden
