Bro, I'm a big Mike Howe fan and this one stung. RIP. My favorite song from MC and Mike Howe is Anthem to the Estranged:
Same here! I wore that album out back In The day. I thought anthem was one of the best thrash ballads
going to see em tommorrow.... pretty pumped, but the new covid wave is a bummer (esp seeing Brooks post) I've heard Tim's voice is toast from hard touring / screaming (last saw them 10 years ago, when that live footage was ) and newest stuff is more like vs
Yes was one of my favorite bands growing up. I remember driving around in my 1982 Oldsmobile Delta 88 (gift from Grandma) blasting Close to the Edge, Stormship Trooper, I've Seen all Good People/Your Move, etc. I played bass and was really into Chris Squire (RIP). While their lineup was ever changing, all the members were phenomenal musicians. I was lucky enough to see them a bunch of times including the Anderson, Wakemam, Buford and Howe lineup as well as the time when they toured in the round with everyone, including Trevor Rabin. One album that flies under the radar is Drama. Anderson wasn't on vocals but man I love that album. Tempus Fugit is one of my favorite Yes songs.
Yeah, I’ve really gotten into going for the one lately. It’s one of the albums I never really payed much attention to, but its quickly becoming a favorite. I like the first album a lot. Also , 90125 is a favorite. I would say my favorite track of theirs is shoot high aim low.
Unfortunately, I never got to see them with Anderson. Saw them in 2012 with Davison. He did a great job. They only Played early stuff… up to drama.
I'm taking my 26 year old son to see 3 Doors Down and Seether this Thursday. I'm a huge Seether fan and so is my son. 3DD will be playing their first album, The Better Life, in it's entirety. The show is at Jones Beach where I've probably seen more concerts that any other venue. Since I've moved to CT I haven't been there once. Should be a great show
I filmed this Thursday night. Seether was outstanding and should have been the headliner. 3 Doors Down was good but for me they were a step back from the raw power of Seether.
Took my son to his first show, Korn/Staind/'68. Badass show, both Korn and Staind were fucking awesome! '68 was a bit of a letdown...
I saw them in '95 open for Marilyn Manson and Danzig. All these years later they were at the top of their game, mind blowing...
I'm waiting for Tool to come around again. Last time I saw them was like 15 years ago. They are absolutely incredible live.
