Have been a huge fan of Helloween since I was a kid, can't wait for their new album with this line up.

That's another band I forgot about! I'll have to dig out their stuff that I have.

Fates Warning is another tband I have to get back into. It's been years since I've listened to them as well.

Yup, it’s great. The 2 before that were good. Not favorites of mine. But then the 2 before that, fwx and disconnected were also great.

I listened to it this morning. It was good. I also like a Pleasant Shade if Gray which is probably why. I love concept albums and prog rock/metal.

I saw Queensryche open for Iron Maiden at Radio City Music Hall in 1984 or 1985 (it was the Powerslave tour). I didn't know anything by Queensryche and couldn't wait for them to get off the stage.

A year later I was in college and I pledged a fraternity with a metal head from Long Island. He asked me if I liked Queensryche and I said they sucked (based on my one drunken experience.) He then played the Warning for me and I was blown away. Ironically that was the album they were promoting when I saw them open for Iron Maiden!

Long story short, I became a huge fan and I have seen them about 8 times, including the entire OMC tour. Geoff Tate has one of the best voices I've ever heard. It's right there with my all time fave, Rob Halford. It sucks they split up.

Nice! Warning was their first album I got. First saw them with Metallica for mindcrime. Saw them about 10-12 times , last time was here in Myrtle beach with Tate on his last tour with them.
It does suck. Latorre is great, but it’s just not the same. They should have stuck with the name rising west, and retired queensyche.

Steinman was awesome. The original version by JS himself.

Todd LaTorre is pretty damn good, give him a chance. Plus, his new solo album is pretty damn heavy.

I'm such a huge Queensryche fan though. I'd feel like I was cheating in Geoff

Picked up the marble vinyl at a yard sale today for $1

Also got Daltrey solo album and Springsteen Born to Run, not a huge fan of Daltrey solo but for a buck might as well.

One of my favorite releases of '21. Stellar drumming by Martin Lopez.

'The Tiger Lillies'. Oh, man, I love this band. They're definitely an acquired taste. I saw them live twice, it was a blast. All of their songs are about sex, murder, prostitutes, wayward children, you name it. It's very theatrical and twisted.
