I've been playing the hell out of the new Dark Tranquillity. They use a nice mixture of harsh and clean vocals.

 

I dig it... gonna have to check them out. Havent listened to the Deftones in quite some time, but it reminded me of that vibe

 

Is he Turkey's answer to Englebert Hunperdink?

 

I dotknow who Englebert is byz but Ferdi Ozbegen a gay sould musician in Turkey and wildly famous in 1980’s

For me it was first when I was really young...
My older sister gave me a stereo and record player that she was getting rid of. I would play her Rolling Stones, the cars, and bay city rollers records.
Really got into music around 10-11 , when I borrowed my brothers cassette of Black Sabbath mob rules.
I would say the bands that really got me into music would be

I'm the youngest of 5 so I did grow up hearing a lot of Zep, Deep Purple, The Who, etc. That put me on my path to listening to rock.The Metalhead in me came out around 8th-9th grade and is
