That’s awesome. The song “murder” is one of my favorites . I took the morning off the day tickets went on sale. I had the phone in one hand and computer in the other. I got 4th row on the computer , then live nation froze and put me back to the home screen lol. Was just listening to hall of the mountain king today.
You guys see Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets tour? Lots of great stuff. Kind of a sausage hang if you're looking for the ladies though.
I think it's hilarious that her and Joey Ramone were great friends. Something about that really scratches me where I itch.
Every few years I bring up the album 'What's Going On', how much I love it, and what a timeless masterpiece it is. So here's a cut from that album being timeless and masterpiecey again. I really needed that, Marvin, especially in light of what's, er' goin' on. Poor Marvin Gaye, what a sad, tragic, way to die. "Father, father . . ." Ugh. He really suffered as a person, and how his life came to and end makes it even sadder. I don't often cry over people I don't know, but it was everything surrounding it that got to me. RIP.
sigh....they don't write love songs like this anymore (and no that's not the intro to Mississippi Queen)
If we ever get over this virus bullshit, I think I'm going to spend everynight for a week straight in every dive bar in town that has decent live music..... hangovers and work be dammned
