I just finally downloaded the new DJ Shadow album, "The Less You Know (The Better)..." I've heard snippets, I have a feeling this will be his best album since "Private Press." I'm very excited to hear this from start to end. Edit: Anyone into Childish Gambino? I downloaded that, too. I heard it's pretty good. I saw him on Conan, wasn't too bad.
i like childish gambino but i think the album overall is a bit too soft. his subject matter is fine and he raps intelligently, which is nice to see since rap has regressed so much as far as subject matter these days, but he gets very drake-like with the singing and love songs too often for my taste. overall its a nice first effort but the kid needs to grow a bit.

What's sad about this is that the sound is still there... 30 years later they still have the potential to put together a decent CD that is true to the rocking sound they had in the early 80's, which is not an easy thing to do.... they just fail to do it and they just end up looking pathetic. Dragon Tatoo? Give me a fuckin break! Who wrote those lyrics and produced that crap? Surely somebody like Rick Rubin could take these broken pieces of a band and put together an awesome comeback CD... but they don't seem to want it. I wish they would... VH was an awesome band and their videos were the best... sad to see them come to this.

Ok. Embeding them is a PITA for me as well lol. Hit the you tube button and you need to type or cut and past the file name out of the link. Its after the = and before the & symbol....
