... An amazing 40 year old YouTube clip of Rod Stewart and the Small Faces doing a couple obscurities live- "Around the Plynth / Gasoline Alley". Unbelievable Ron Wood guitar.
Not sure if anyone still likes Incubus, but I got my hands on their new album that's forthcoming in July. If you do like the band and wanna hear any of the tracks, then just P.M. me, and I can send them as mp3 files.
Moving Mountains is one of my favorite post-rock bands. Their new album leaked a few days ago. They signed with Triple Crown, added a new vocalist, and their style changed a little bit - sort of sounds like Thrice mixed with Explosions in the Sky now. This is the opener on the new album. It's definitely different from their old stuff, but I like it.
Hmmm..not too bad; I kinda like it. Btw, what constitutes "post-rock"? I think this is the first time I'm hearing that term.
From one of the greatest sites on the interwebz, Urban Dictionary: Explosions in the Sky the best post-rock band. Most of the time these bands don't have vocals. Moving Mountains has just evolved into something different.
Another oldie but goodie that popped up on the shuffle. I'm sure E is a huge fan of this band. This is music ability-wise one the best, if not most underrated, bands of the last 15 years or so.
