Beginning at approx. 4:00, guitar/drum "duel" between guitarist Mick Box and drummer Lee Kerslake is one of the classics from this era. Seeing Heep live during this time is still one of my rock concert highlights.
I stumbled upon this amazing live version of "The Musical Box" (from Nursery Cryme) some time last year. IMO, this is Genesis at its most powerful. Section beginning at approx. 7:10 until song's end is unbelievable. Steve Hackett's guitar work is amazing throughout. Who said Eddie Van halen originated two hand tapping?
