After we raped his beloved Patriots, all he could do is to knock the Jets at arguably our two strongest positions, and selects those 2 instead. McCourty over Revis is just idiotic. NO ONE IN THE LEAGUE would make that pick...just shows how much of a fat piece of shit this hack is
Hulk Hogan! Hogan described himself as a casual pro football fan, but Scott has given him a not-so-casual rooting interest in the AFC Championship Game in Pittsburgh. "I'm going with the Jets," Hogan said.
I heard that... He loves Bart Scott, said he saw his post game interview and fell in love with the guy.
Add Geraldo Rivera to the list. He is a Jets fan and there is a video of him dancing with the Jets Flight Crew during Fox & Friends this morning. :jets:
Personally, I don't give 2-sh#t's what the "media hex-perts" have "picked" in re to the Jets winning or losing! Their analysis, observations, opinions & justifications on both sides of the JET "coin" are no more enlightening, invaluable or revered as what many have stated here. As a 4 1/2 yr "lurker" here now a member (due 2 email probs), I have read NUMEROUS in-depth examinations of the JET-collective - both pro & con - from MANY knowledgeable members here (some who could give TV & Radio personnel a run 4 thier money in thier analytical AND humorous approach) that their insight is on PAR with some of these media "personalities"! Be PROUD! JETS by 8 1/2! Trust me on this!
8 of the 9 staff writers on Newsday picked the Jets (only Neil Best didn't). I don't recall any of them picking the Jets last week. BTW, Kornheiser said that he is rooting for the Jets (his heart is with New York), but he's picking the Steelers (his head is with Pittsburgh).
Warren Sapp... he also said if he had to start a franchise with a QB he'd take Nacho... Say's he has "it"
This /\ Who cares who picks the Jets? It is not a fan's job or place to worry about or seek respect for his/her team. All that matters is wins and losses. If everybody picked the Jets and the Jets lost, would it make all of you feel better? Everybody is so concerned with who picks the Jets to win and where the Jets rank in the power rankings (how important are they now?). Worry about the game, talk about the Xs and Os and the game plans and strategies. All that matters is what happens between the lines Sunday night. The Jets win and we are all happy and it doesn't matter what Mortensen and King and the others thought going into the game. I just don't know why any Jets fan cares about anything other than the game itself. And the next time I watch a pre game show on one of the networks will be the first. These shows remind of the scene in the first Naked Gun movie when they had about 20 announcers for the baseball game. Why should I care who those 5-6 clowns pick? Their opinions are of no more value or interest than the average fan's and less valuable than most knowledgeable fans.
