Relative to other NFL head coaches, a moron coached the team to a 9-7 record last year. I understand there is a big difference between a rookie and a banged up legend at the QB position, but I think the team improved the personnel pretty much across the board. The schedule seems favorable enough. Also nice is the fact the Jets do not have to play in Buffalo this year. A trip to a dome in Toronto should be less daunting. The Jets should sweep the Bills regardless, but avoiding Ralph Wilson Stadium will be nice. If the Jets make the playoffs this season, it's not going to be the first time a rookie head coach took his team to the playoffs a year after the team failed to reach the playoffs. We should expect Rex Ryan to make mistakes, but the idea that we should expect to wait a year or two for a playoff berth is a bit off.
I feel your pain DBJ. I really do. Here it is, Weds night, and I still feel like complete garbage. I was totally embarrassed by our performance. And I am a 100 percent darksider, but when I really start feeling giddy about ganggreen and maybe, just maybe I will some light at the end of the tunnel, the jets manage to stick a dagger through my heart. The only way to resolve this is the Jets to wipe thier asses all over the bills.
