Living in Fl. I just can't get my hands on one of those hero sandwiches from Nino Jrs. in Monmouth. So I go over to the Publix supermarket and pick out a freshly baked long loaf of Semolina Bread. I stroll over to the Deli Counter and order up some Boars Head Cold cuts; Prosciutto, Cappicola, Genoa Salami, Provalone Chees, I get my shredded lettuce, a couple 'a Jersey beefsteak tomatoes, onions and some olive oil, and red wine vinager, (sometimes I'll mix up some good seasons Italian Dressing)
and take it to the house and make a super Italian Hero Sammich!!!!

Calvin Pace should join us in this thread. He was on Myers and Hartman today. I thought it would be a legit interview, especially since Bruce Jacobs was filling in for Chris Myers and is a big Jets fan. Instead, they discussed Favre and the suspension VERY briefly, and spent most of the time talking about Pace's favorite recipes and advice for tailgating. Seriously disappointing, but good for this thread.

I'm in for "Steak and Shake" Minus the shake, lots of Yuengling. If the game goes well, cheese fries later on and more Yuengling. If it goes bad...... ahhhh just more yuengling. Cant wait to see the Rex era begin!

I don't know about Week 1, but Week 5 MNF Tacos are a must. Dolphins-Jets Tradition for me.

As for Week 1, I am leaning towards subs.

I'm concerned you may not be consuming enough calories for the day. Make sure its not light beer, that should cover it.

Ohh baby baby, ba baby baby

Some people get weird when you talk about having dead babies on the menu, but its not the baby thats the problem its how you prepare them, anotherwords the spices you use, what kind of heat, that kind of thing. Spicy is always the way to go, man hope this joke doesn't end up on the FBI's shite list. After all it is only a joke right? Yeah thats it just a joke. As Homer Simpson once said, mmmmmmmmmm baaaaaby!

OK, actually since the NFL package is just too expensive living here in NC, I go to the local sports bar and have a huge burger, fries etc. ice cold coke. I figure I can see the game and eat all for less then the package. Not only that but the bar has those cool portable radios that have the sound right at each table so you just toon it in and can hear the game even in a loud bar on Sunday. Go out at half time and toke on a little number, then its 3rd, 4th and out.
