Why do people assume we're going to get a pass rusher?

We have Pace, who should have a better year this year, and while Cactus isn't the best rusher, he is great against the run and has his moments. The pass rush should be improved with Pitititioauauauau healthy, and Wilk+K.Ellis coming in and taking up more blockers.

yet you think a guy coming out of a 2 year prison stint is a better risk?

I go to the same Korean laundromat as Mike Tannenbaum and he told me his plan (after Asomugha fell through) is to sign Larry Fitzgerald next year. Depending on how the defense shakes out the first pick in the 2012 draft will be an OLB.

I think the Jets have a policy like this-

If you fucked up on another team and you come to the Jets, we will support you and help you better yourself. If you fuck up again while wearing green and white, see ya later.

Not that I have a staunch position on this, but after 2 years out of football, has anyone even worked out Plax? I'm Lukewarm as to whether he has a "ready football shape" body and condition. Edwards never particularly stood out to me a supreme/elite talent, but the continuity btwn him and Holmes AND Cotchery would have been a GOOD Thing...

    braylon wants #1 money

we are paying #1 money to Holmes and when we have other needs it doesnt make sense to tie up so much in the WR position, especially when at the moment at least we are not really a passing team - though likely to go more balanced this year as sanchez continues to improve.

We have to sign Cro, there is nobody else left in FA that is close to him at CB. My hopes is we get James WR or one of the top 2 WRs in FA in addition to Plex, sing Cro or make 2 blockbuster trades to get a top notch CB,WR and passrusher for draft picks next year, it could happen.....

"Chedda Bob" will be fine, and if he's not, its a one year deal - this is strictly a RED ZONE signing, since we couldn't punch it in through a wet paper bag inside the 20 last year

Yes, but its also dumb as hell to overpay for a #2 receiver on a rush first team. Braylon has one 1,000 season in 7 years. This is not a great player, or a game breaker, or a match up nightmare. He was a good player, who worked hard, and wanted a big time #1 type contract. I'm happy somone else is going to over pay for him.
