This is worth talking about. Remember when Leonhard went out in 2010? That was a much better team, but they came out flat and it did not end with one loss. Sure they later regrouped, but as I said, that was a better team. Before the Niners game, all the talk was about how they had to pull together to make up for Revis's absence. The run D would have to step up, Wilson would have to step up, the O would have to score more points. And what happened? None of those things happened. Instead they start out with Wilson's PI call and, really, you could have turned your set off right there. They played without confidence. On both sides of the ball. Other than Cro, no one had a good game, although I should also add Landry did not embarrass himself, either. THe CS was clueless. On third and one in FG range you call for a pass play??? It's just one game, we can regroup, sounds nice. But what is really going to turn this team into a winner at this point? I can't think of anything.
Most likely: HOU 68 NYJ 0 The next best player on the NYJ active roster goes down with a season-ender. Rex tells fans not to worry: he's still the greatest defensive mind in the game.
^Just when you thought it couldn't get any more crazy with proposals from fans... Someone drops this rediculous staement!!!!!!!
I think that Rex Ryan shoves some fireworks up the offense's backside and gets everyone motivated enough to put a hurting on the Texans this week. Without Keller, we're fucked though.
Our defense is not as bad as we think. Especially our run defense. We struggled in weeks 2 and 3 mostly in the second half because they are spending too much time on the field. That’s the offenses fault. It’s not just getting tired that hurts our defense – the more plays they run the more weakness’s they will find - we become predictable. The 49ers out foxed us with some wildcat’ish plays for big yards that we were completely unprepared for. However we held Gore to like 43 yards and that’s actually very good. But we do need to tackle better. Where’s the gang tackling Rex has always been known for? Time to focus on that seemingly basic principal in practice this week. This game could be a letdown game for Texas. They are probably looking past us after our ridiculous showing last week. Their defense is probably lax in preparation both mentally and physically. Plus they are on the road. We could catch them with their pants down. They are likely preparing for Sanchez so Tebow should be a big part of the offense (IMO taking more snaps than Mark). This is really our only chance. We are not going to out gun them. We need ball control with long drives. If we can accomplish that and make a few plays on defense we got a chance.
I wouldn't mind C because I need Foster to kill Jets defense. However, I would like to see Sanchez throw for three TD's and we somehow win.
