I know there's a Hudson thread already but they've ridded themselves of FOUR out of five offensive line starters after building one of the best lines in the league over the past couple years. He's drafted effectively one good (not great) defensive players in Maxx Crosby and a bunch of duds like Arnette and Clelin Ferrell with premium picks- Arnette who is going to be out of the league from head trauma with the way he tackles.

He drafted three receivers last year, one was off the team before the season started, another missed the majority of the season and the last was Ruggs who struggled to get going.

Their pass rush is still one of the worst in the leagues for three years running and they get absolutely gashed on the ground.

    Anyone have any ideas?

You can afford to release good players every season when you have the draft insight of Mike Mayock in the front office (*cough*)

Nothing anyone who paid the slightest bit of attention to his previous coaching tenures and TV work couldn't have predicted.

In a very real sense, the Raiders hiring him has been a complete and total failure so far, having nothing to do with football. He was hired to be the high profile shill for NFL football in Vegas, hyping up the arrival of the team, and getting all of the high rollers to come to town for home football weekends. That, of course, was totally derailed by the pandemic. If next season is anything like a normal one, he will finally start doing his real job. If he fails at that, he will be gone long before his deal runs out.
